Job summary

Kastle Technologies Co., LLC (KTECH), an EMCOR Company, is seeking a Technician to support low-voltage systems integration across multiple Ohio sites including Dayton, Monroe, and Cincinnati. You will install and test copper and fiber cabling, configure CCTV and access control systems, and ensure compliance with national codes and project specifications.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and a safety-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of the Low Voltage Integration or ICT industry.
• BICSI and/or AVIXA certification desirable but not required.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Install low voltage copper and fiber optic cabling.
• Terminate, test copper and fiber cabling systems using certified test equipment.
• Use a variety of tools or equipment, such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Repair and install network enabled systems such as CCTV, Access Control, AV Control Systems, Central Sound, Video Management Servers, Projectors, Screens, Interactive Displays, etc.
• Assists in keeping building common and technology spaces in a neat, orderly and safe condition.
• Accomplishes work in accordance with blueprints and specifications, national and local codes and industry standards such as TIA and BICSI.
• Updates as-built drawings as necessary, according to department policies.
• Attend Toolbox safety meetings and demonstrate safety competency in addition to any other recommended topics such as harassment prevention, ethics, etc.
• Obtain an OSHA 10 General Industry Safety and Health standards certification.
• Extended hours or weekend overtime may be available.

Summary

This position pays up to $32.40 / hr. and includes paid health insurance (at no cost to you) and paid pension and annuity.
