Job summary

Teasdale Latin Foods in Louisville, KY is seeking a Taco Line Technician for 1st shift. You will operate within the department under supervision to ensure quality packaging and adherence to SOPs, training across positions, and maintaining production yields.

The role requires you to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and pass a basic certification assessment, while prioritizing food safety and quality throughout the line.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for the entire shift.
• Must be able to read and write basic English.
• Must be able to perform basic addition and subtraction.

Responsibilities

• Operate within the department under direction of the Shift Manager or Shift Supervisor.
• Maintain line efficiencies and yields at or above standard by following SOPs.
• Communicate production problems or safety issues to the Shift Supervisor.
• Maintain process documentation for the assignment.
• Perform quality checks as required.
• Contribute to food safety and product quality standards.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned.

TACO LINE TECHNICIAN 1st SHIFT(MACHINE OPERATOR - GENERAL PRODUCTION) - LOUISVILLE, KY

OVERVIEW:

This individual will be responsible for packaging quality products at or above standard production rates. The individual will be required to perform their work following standard operating procedures and become qualified in all technical positions within the department. Management will determine the shift on which the team member will be required to train.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Work where the Shift Manager or Shift Supervisor directs you within the department.
• Assume responsibilities of job assigned and complete work following current S.O.P.'s while maintaining line efficiencies and yields at or above standard.
• Communicate to the Shift Supervisor any production problems or safety issues.
• Maintain process documentation as it applies to the particular assignment.
• Perform Quality checks as required.
• Dedicated to quality products and food safety standards.
• Any additional duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• Must be able to perform all duties as assigned in the work instructions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and use both right and left hands.
• Must successfully complete a basic certification assessment
• Must be able to stand during the entire schedule.
• Must be able to read and write basic English.
• Must be able to do basic addition and subtraction.
