Job summary

Teasdale Latin Foods is seeking production workers for multiple shifts to support ingredients prep, mixing, cooking, and final packaging of our food products. You will read work orders, operate equipment from scanners to steam kettles, and ensure quality with proper labeling and date codes.

Responsibilities include moving items between areas, performing case audits, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and adhering to cleaning protocols while reporting maintenance needs.

Qualifications

Job Description Hiring for First (6 am-6pm), second (2pm-10pm), and third shifts (10pm-6am)

OVERVIEW:

Production Workers are responsible for the following processes: ingredients prep, mixing, cooking, and final packaging for Teasdale’s food products. This can include raw material preparations, setting up, monitoring, and maintaining equipment and workflows used in our food production lines.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Update and label boxes for proper packaging.
• Monitors and provides line QA for pop-ups, dented or scratched lids, high or low label placement, and legible date codes.
• Packs finished products.
• Records the number of cases per pallet and batch.
• Performs case audits when assigned.
• Move and organize products, materials, or equipment between work areas.
• Operates food production equipment as needed (ranging from a scan gun to a steam kettle).
• Read work orders or other instructions to determine product specifications or process requirements.
• Ensures cleaning protocols are conducted for all food production equipment.
• Notifies supervisor of equipment repair or maintenance needs.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to problem solve and use manual dexterity skills.
• Working with raw materials on a production floor requires physical strength and stamina.
• Must lift 50-65 pounds up to four feet high without assistance.
• Required to bend, stoop, pull, and push in the performance of job duties.
• Responsible for a clean and safe working environment.
• Environment subject to temperature changes.
• Performs other job duties as necessary, this includes other production areas as directed.
