Job summary

Main Event in Louisville, KY is seeking a part-time Technician to maintain the center

Detect faults, perform electrical and mechanical repairs, and ensure all games and systems run safely and smoothly. You will troubleshoot, repair components, maintain inventory, and keep the mechanic shop organized while engaging guests with a friendly, FUN attitude. On-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age and ability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong problem-solving skills and multi-tasking ability.
• General knowledge of repair and maintenance of arcade games and bowling equipment.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety practices and ability to wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, mechanical, and technical work related to maintenance and repairs.
• Troubleshoot repairs on games, tellers, pinsetters, and related equipment.
• Disassemble, replace, and repair mechanical and electrical components.
• Maintain inventory records and order supplies as needed.
• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards and engage guests as a FUN ambassador.

As a Technician, you are knowledgeable about the mechanics and operations of our games and entertainment options and ensure they are performing properly and safely. You are responsible for supporting the maintenance of the center’s equipment, building, and systems, to name a few.
