Job summary

Main Event is seeking a Technician in Lubbock, TX to maintain our games and entertainment options. You will perform electrical, mechanical, and technical work, troubleshoot, and keep equipment, the building, and systems safe and clean.

The role requires teamwork, strong problem solving, and the ability to use hand tools and climb ladders. We value guest focus, safety, and the willingness to work days, nights, or weekends.

Qualifications

• Guest-focused mindset and ability to engage with guests.
• Strong teamwork and communication in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of electronics, mechanics and hydraulics related to arcade equipment.
• Ability to use hand tools and perform repairs.
• Willingness to follow OSHA safety practices and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, mechanical, and technical work for maintenance and repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair games, tellers, pinsetters, and related equipment.
• Disassemble/replace components such as bearings, coils, and wiring.
• Maintain inventory records and organize the mechanic shop.
• Support safety and cleanliness standards across the center.

As a Technician, you are knowledgeable on the mechanics and operations of our games and entertainment options, and ensure they are performing properly, and safely. You are responsible for supporting the maintenance of the center’s equipment, building, and systems to name a few.
