Job summary

bioMérieux is seeking a skilled Electronic Technician to perform evaluation, refurbishment, and assembly of automated electro-mechanical biological test systems on an advanced level, while maintaining stock levels in a regulated environment.

The role covers sub-assembly, final testing, documenting conformity with GMP, and assisting in training teammates. Candidates should be proficient in reading schematics and performing advanced test procedures in a collaborative team setting.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of related experience as an Electronic Technician or Instrument Manufacturing Technician including knowledge of mechanical and electro-mechanical functions, advanced laws of electricity, microprocessor and analog systems.

Position Summary

Primary Duties


  • Perform sub-assembly and final assembly acceptance test operations accurately and timely.

  • Assist in training of Senior Assembler and other Technicians.

  • Ability to conduct advanced test procedures.

Qualifications

Required Education, Training and Experience


  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent

This role supports instrument manufacturing operations and requires advanced technical knowledge related to electronic and electro-mechanical systems, acceptance testing, assembly operations, and regulated manufacturing practices.


Working Conditions and Physical Requirements (Summary)


  • Ability to remain in a stationary position, either sitting or standing, for prolonged periods.

  • Ability to ascend/descend stairs, ladders, ramps, and the like.

  • Ability to wear PPE correctly most of the day.

  • Ability to adjust or move objects up to 50 pounds in all directions.

  • Ability to operate heavy machinery: No.

  • Domestic travel required: 0% of time.

  • International travel required: 0% of time.


The estimated salary range for this role is between $21.80 and $32.70 hourly in the state of Missouri. This role is eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and individual performance per bioMerieux’s bonus program. This range may differ from ranges offered for similar positions elsewhere in the country given differences in cost of living. Actual compensation within this range is determined based on the successful candidate’s experience and will be presented in writing at the time of the offer.
