Job Title: Technician 3, SMT Operator
Location: Lockport, NY
Pay Range:$26-$35/hr
Shift: 7am - 3:30pm, Monday through Friday
Operate Surface Mount Technology (SMT) automated pick and place equipment to manufacture PC Boards according to production schedules and standards.
Perform periodic clean-up and routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Read and interpret assembly prints, schematics, work instructions, and specifications to accurately set up and operate equipment.
Participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities to maintain high quality and efficiency.
Keep detailed and accurate records of production activities and machine maintenance.
Ability to perform basic reading, writing, and math functions.
Experience with reading blueprints, schematics, work instructions, and BOMs.
Familiarity with IPC standards and ESD precautions.
Ability to recognize process or component issues and resolve problems promptly.
Good hand-eye coordination and ability to stand for extended periods.
