Job summary

Thompsons Auto Group in Apex, CA is seeking an experienced Service Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain vehicles, delivering high-quality service in line with our integrity and teamwork values.

You will perform routine maintenance, communicate repair details to service advisors, stay current with manufacturer guidelines, and contribute to a safe, customer-focused environment. ASE certification or manufacturer certifications are preferred, along with own tools and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• ASE Certification or manufacturer certifications desirable.
• Experience as automotive technician, preferably in a dealership environment.
• Proficiency in diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues and performing repairs.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Professional conduct and neat appearance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues to Thompsons’ standards.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as oil changes, rotations, brake checks, and fluid top-offs.
• Communicate repair details and cost estimates to Service Advisors with a servant’s attitude.
• Collaborate with technicians and team members to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Stay current with manufacturer guidelines, service bulletins, and diagnostic tools.
