Qualifications

  • 18+ years of age.
  • Guest-focused mindset and teamwork essential.
  • Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to learn and operate multiple systems for the business.
  • Basic knowledge of electronics, mechanics, and hydraulics.
  • Safety-compliant with OSHA practices and PPE use.
  • Able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical, mechanical and technical maintenance on games and entertainment options.
  • Troubleshoot repairs on games, tellers, pinsetters, etc.
  • Disassemble, replace and repair mechanical and electrical components.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Order supplies, tools, and materials as needed.
  • Keep the mechanic shop and facility organized and clean.
  • Uphold safety and sanitation standards.
  • Engage with guests as a FUN ambassador.
  • Receive paid on-the-job training.

Job Description

At Main Event, our Technicians are responsible for maintaining the FUN! As a Technician, you are knowledgeable about the mechanics and operations of our games and entertainment options and ensure they are performing properly and safely. You are responsible for supporting the maintenance of the center’s equipment, building, and systems, to name a few. You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

What will you be doing daily?
  • Performing electrical, mechanical, and technical work related to construction, repairs, preventive, and scheduled maintenance (gotta keep things running!)
  • Troubleshooting repairs on games, tellers, pinsetters, etc.
  • Disassembling, replacing, and repairing mechanical and electrical components or parts such as bearings, coils, armatures, and wiring
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records
  • Ordering supplies, tools, and materials as needed
  • Maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the mechanic shop and facility
  • Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)
  • Welcome and engage with all guests while being a FUN ambassador!
  • Paid on-the-job training!
Position Requirements
  • 18+ years of age
  • Guest-focused mindset (We heart our Guests!)
  • Teamwork is a must (Teamwork makes the dream work!)
  • Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to learn and utilize multiple systems that support the business
  • General knowledge/skill set on the repair and maintenance of automated bowling equipment and arcade games
  • Skilled in practical application of electronics, mechanics, and hydraulics
  • Basic working knowledge of hand tools; ability to use and handle tools to perform work
  • Ability to perform work on ladders
  • Ability to handle equipment up to 250 lbs.
  • Knowledgeable of OSHA regulations and safety practices
  • Ability to wear and work in personal protective equipment
  • Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
  • Availability to workdays, nights, weekends, and holidays

Salary Range

Salary Range: 12 - 16
