Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of technical writing experience in manufacturing or related sector.
• Proficiency with documentation tools: Adobe Technical Communication Suite, MadCap Flare, MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop, edit, and maintain complex technical publications including service manuals, operator manuals, parts catalogs, and maintenance guides for transit buses.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and QA to gather specs and translate into clear documentation.
• Create and update manufacturing work instructions and SOPs.
• Manage document revisions through ECN process.
• Incorporate CAD visuals from SolidWorks to illustrate documents.
• Ensure compliance with safety, APTA, and client requirements.
