Job summary

Dark Wolf is seeking a Technical Writer to support enterprise documentation, project plans, and operational procedures to ensure customer mission success. The role requires coordinating with SMEs, PMs, and stakeholders to gather research and draft clear deliverables for technical, non-technical, and executive audiences.

This hybrid Tampa, FL position offers a salary range of $100,000–$130,000, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of technical writing and editing experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (2019+) and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
• Ability to write clearly for technical, non-technical, and executive audiences.
• Strong grammar, editing, and attention to detail.
• Experience writing executive-level briefings, White Papers, SOPs, AARs, SITREPs, meeting minutes, and project plans.
• Ability to develop presentations using Visio, PowerPoint, etc.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and maintaining systems, programming, and operations documentation, procedures, and methods, including user manuals and reference manuals.
• Providing support for documentation management processes and coordinating special documentation services as required.
• Providing support and development services for the creation of plans, policies, and procedures associated with the project, program, and technology management processes.
• Maintaining liaison and ongoing relationships with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and relevant stakeholders.
• Communicating promptly and effectively to requests for response, research, and information; gathering answers through active collaboration with SMEs, teammates, management, and stakeholders.
• Developing executive-level briefings, White Papers, SOPs, AARs, SITREPs, meeting minutes, and project plans.
• Creating visual process flows, architectural diagrams, and presentations using technology such as MS Visio and PowerPoint.
