Job summary

Quevera seeks a Technical Writer II with an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph to support mission-critical programs in Ft. Meade, Maryland.

You will craft, review, and maintain documentation across software, systems engineering, and operations, collaborating with engineers and SMEs to deliver clear, actionable materials. You will develop installation guides, user manuals, and technical references, ensuring accuracy, currency, and accessibility.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is mandatory.
• Six or more years of Technical Writer experience on programs of similar scope.
• Degree in a technical field from an accredited college or university.
• Four additional years of Technical Writer experience may be substituted for the degree.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documentation for software, systems engineering, and operations.
• Develop installation guides, configuration docs, user guides, and technical reference materials.
• Create and edit docs for hardware and software systems across development lifecycle.
• Publish software documentation and procedures for enterprise capabilities.
• Develop data definitions and data flow documentation for technical systems.
• Coordinate layout, organization, and publishing of technical publications.
• Gather information from engineers and SMEs, ensuring clarity for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Research technical topics and structure information into accessible docs.
• Maintain internal documentation libraries and support training materials.
• Collaborate with developers to produce quality documentation and training materials.
