Job summary

JT4, LLC is seeking a Technical Writer II to develop, write, edit, and format technical publications for NSTTC systems and equipment. You will work with engineers to produce manuals, notes, and reference guides ensuring accuracy and compliance with military standards.

The role requires an Associate's degree or equivalent and 3+ years of related experience, plus the ability to obtain a government security clearance and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent and 3+ years of technical writing experience
• Ability to write, edit, and prepare clear, concise technical documentation for publication or production
• Communicate effectively with technical professionals and managers
• Able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
• Valid state-issued driver's license

Responsibilities

• Develops, writes, proofreads, formats, and edits technical publications related to NSTTC systems and equipment
• Interfaces with engineers and technicians to prepare manuals and related information
• Reviews catalogs, drawings, and data for operation, maintenance, and service of equipment
• Maintains electronic Technical Data Library and records for continuity
• Performs quality checks for accuracy, conciseness, and adherence to standards
• Adheres to schedules and deadlines; supports publication production
