Astrix is seeking a Technical Writer I to develop and maintain medical device documentation onsite in Houston, TX. You will collaborate with R&D and cross-functional teams to deliver clear, regulatory-ready materials for global distribution.

The role requires 5+ years of tech writing experience, proficiency with Adobe/Flare/Oxygen, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field. Local candidates only; 1-year contract with extension potential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical writing experience, preferably with medical devices.
• Proficiency with documentation tools such as Adobe, Flare, or Oxygen.
• Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in a regulated GMP/FDA environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Technical Writer I - Onsite

Location: Houston, TX - Seeking local only

Develop and maintain technical documentation for medical devices while partnering with R&D, Technical Support, and cross-functional teams. Create clear, accurate documentation for global distribution and ensure projects are completed on time.
