Job summary

OMNI Consulting Solutions seeks a Technical Writer to support a federal customer on national-security initiatives in Washington, DC. You will develop, write, and edit technical materials, ensuring accuracy and compliance with style guidelines while coordinating with design teams and executives.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree (or 8+ years of relevant federal writing experience) and an Active Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of relevant technical writing experience for the Federal Government.
• 4+ years of technical writing experience for the Federal Government.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop, write, and edit technical materials including reports, manuals, briefs, technical specifications, instruction books, catalogs, and related publications.
• Produce documentation covering work methods, procedures, installation, operation, and/or maintenance of equipment and systems.
• Draft a variety of technical articles, brochures, and manuals for multiple uses.
• Coordinate document design and graphics production with the customer.
• Proof, standardize, and edit documents to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with style guidelines.
• Create and format executive-level presentations.
• Develop and update content for brochures, briefings, technical papers, and organizational websites.
