Job Description: Technical Writer & Editor III

Argo Cyber Systems is seeking a Technical Writer to support this critical customer mission. We support a U.S. Government customer in providing onsite incident response to civilian Government agencies and critical asset owners facing cyber-attacks. Responsibilities include immediate investigation, breach characterization, mitigation planning, and service restoration.

Responsibilities:

1. Developing and reviewing technical communications deliverables such as cybersecurity documentation, operational procedures, plans, action reports, and meeting minutes, in coordination with Incident Management teams.
2. Preparing, reviewing, editing, and maintaining program technical documents, SOPs, work instructions, CONOPS, and internal messaging.
3. Maintaining statistical diagrams and charts of team engagement reports.

Required Skills:

• U.S. Citizenship
• Active TS/SCI clearance
• Ability to obtain DHS Suitability
• 5+ years of technical writing experience in cybersecurity, including documentation, plans, reports, and meeting minutes for internal and external audiences
• Experience with government cybersecurity records, documentation, and SOPs
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Products, and GSuite
• Strong technical writing and editing skills, familiarity with AP Style and government style guides
• Ability to collaborate with cyber analysts to produce clear, engaging narratives
• Capability to work under pressure with various stakeholders in a fast-paced environment

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of cybersecurity terminology, concepts, and subject matter
• Experience creating technical briefings for executive leadership
• Understanding of different communication styles and formats

Required Education:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Business, or related field, or high school diploma with 7+ years of relevant experience
