Job description

FedWriters is a federal contracting firm specializing in technical writing for government agencies. This remote role supports the HHS Office of Minority Health, developing plain-language materials for limited English proficiency communities.

Overview

As a Technical Writer/Editor II, you will help the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Minority Health (OMH) to meet its mission of providing national leadership, resources, and coordination to improve the health of racial and ethnic minority populations and American Indians and Alaska Natives and to eliminate health disparities. You will use your writing and editing knowledge, skills, and abilities to produce materials that are more accessible to limited English proficiency (LEP) communities, helping HHS OMH to promote programs, initiatives and administration health priorities, empowering LEP communities to access HHS OMH materials independently, and making them more informed about important health and wellness issues.
