Job summary

Persistent Systems, LLC is seeking a Technical Writer to create and maintain technical documentation for Wave Relay products and government programs. You will coordinate Contract Data Requirements List deliverables and write manuals, procedures, and reports in support of a government sustainment effort.

The role requires strong writing and document management skills, ability to work with engineers and SMEs, and familiarity with DoD documentation requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or related field.
• Experience developing, editing, and maintaining technical documentation.
• United States security clearance or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Develop, edit, format, maintain, and coordinate contractual technical deliverables for a government sustainment program.
• Review DD Forms 1423, DIDs, SOW/PWS, specs to ensure content, format and submission criteria.
• Collect technical data with stakeholders to create recurring, event-driven, and one-time deliverables.
• Maintain technical manuals, installation procedures, maintenance procedures, and user guides.
• Edit for accuracy, completeness, clarity, consistency, and compliance.
• Maintain document templates, style guides, naming conventions, and processes.
• Manage revision history, configuration control, and version tracking.
• Support government review and comment resolution through final approval.
