The initial focus of this role will be technical writing, process documentation, training materials, and operational resources. You will work directly with subject matter experts, system administrators, and cross-functional teams to understand how work gets done, identify documentation gaps, and turn complex information into practical, easy-to-use content. As your knowledge and capabilities grow, the position will expand into website content, marketing materials, sales enablement, and other commercial-support activities.

What You’ll Do
- Create, edit, and maintain technical, operational, training, marketing, and internal-use content
- Translate complex technical information and business processes into clear content for technical and nontechnical audiences
- Develop SOPs, work instructions, process maps, checklists, training materials, job aids, FAQs, and quick-reference guides
- Interview subject matter experts, observe workflows, review existing materials, and gather the information needed to create accurate documentation
- Partner with system administrators and process owners to document workflows, responsibilities, handoffs, data-entry expectations, and user procedures
- Identify gaps or inconsistencies in existing processes and documentation
- Establish and maintain documentation templates, naming conventions, review practices, version control, and content standards
- Create documentation and training resources supporting CRM processes, pipeline tracking, activity reporting, and system use
- Support the company’s AI Committee by documenting new workflows, standards, controls, user guidance, and training needs
- Apply fact-checking, editorial judgment, and human review when using AI-assisted content tools
- Participate in marketing planning and content-prioritization discussions
- Create and update customer-facing and sales-support materials such as one-pagers, product overviews, case studies, presentations, and website content
- Review and update materials as systems, processes, products, and business needs change
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Experience creating technical, process, operational, training, or instructional content through professional work, internships, academic projects, or a portfolio
- Strong writing, editing, proofreading, research, and information-organization skills
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts and business processes into clear, practical content
- Ability to gather information by interviewing subject matter experts, observing workflows, reviewing system demonstrations, and evaluating existing materials
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, consistency, fact-checking, and version control
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and bring structure to incomplete or evolving processes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems and digital tools
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Curiosity and a willingness to learn technical products, business systems, marketing practices, and sales processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience creating SOPs, work instructions, process maps, training materials, FAQs, or quick-reference guides
- Experience interviewing subject matter experts and documenting technical or operational processes
- Familiarity with CRM, content-management, knowledge-management, or documentation systems
- Experience using screenshots, diagrams, flowcharts, or other visual documentation methods
- Familiarity with website content, marketing copy, product messaging, or sales-enablement materials
- Experience using AI-assisted writing or content-development tools with appropriate fact-checking and human review
- Experience working in a technical, engineering, manufacturing, or business-to-business environment
Work Environment And Physical Requirements
- Primarily an office and computer-based position with significant on-site collaboration
- Regular movement between office areas and workspaces to meet with subject matter experts, administrators, and process owners
- Occasional presence in operational or manufacturing areas to observe and document workflows
- Frequent computer use for writing, editing, research, documentation, content production, and virtual collaboration
- Ability to follow applicable safety requirements while working in operational or manufacturing areas
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
