Duties
Ability to apply writing skills and substantial knowledge of the basic principles and specialized vocabulary of appropriate subject-matter fields to enable accurate communication of scientific and technological developments to expert and other interested audiences.
Requirements
Bachelor's or master's degree in a related field and at least three years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, three of which must be in the DoD or other United States Government (USG) ISR/SOF Organizations. OR seven years of directly related experience, five of which must be in the DoD or other USG ISR/SOF Organizations.
Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance.
Other Essential Job Functions
Demonstrated experience in obtaining, analyzing, and selecting pertinent technical information then determining the most logical and effective sequence of the narrative and finally determining the overall length and tone based on the objectives, medium, and audience. Experience in taking highly technical information and creating user documentation for a variety of material, including how-to guides and instruction manuals used for DOD maintenance, servicing and inspecting complex systems to include aircraft equipment, avionics, electronic warfare and surveillance systems and mechanical hydraulic/pneudraulic systems.
