A leading company in digital payments is seeking a Senior Technical Writer to join their Content and Developer Experience team. In this role, you will create and refine documentation for API functionality and developer resources, collaborate with product teams, and help elevate the developer experience on the Pismo platform. Candidates with experience in fintech or banking technology are encouraged to apply.
As a Senior Technical Writer on the Content and Developer Experience team, you will collaborate with experts across the company to produce digital payment and developer guides, edit API reference documentation, and support the creation of educational materials that help developers adopt the Pismo platform. You'll partner with product teams to address ongoing documentation needs and know API best practices to provide input on technical decisions. You'll also collaborate with other writers to define standards and practice for writers and engineers at Pismo. We're looking for a proactive, knowledgeable, and hands-on writer to join our global team and help us grow our developer portal at Pismo.
Key Responsibilities
Write clear and concise documentation to educate external developers about Pismo's features, functionality, data models, workflows, and processes.
Work with product teams to evaluate the external-facing documentation needs, and ensure updates are completed in coordination with product deployments.
Work closely with engineers, product managers, and other team members to collect source information, obtain technical reviews, and test functionality, as necessary.
Keep up to date with API best practices and educate internal and external users on key developments.
Collaborate with engineers to edit reference specification files, generate code samples, and publish Postman collections.
Edit, reorganize, and verify the accuracy of existing developer guides.
Participate in team initiatives to establish styles, improve processes, and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing.
This is a remote position. A remote position does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a Visa office location. Remote positions may be required to be present at a Visa office with scheduled notice.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 99,700 to 180,650 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
