Job summary

Burroughs is seeking a Technical Trainer to deliver technical training on Burroughs supported products to internal and external customers. The role includes developing and enhancing training content, maintaining records, and supporting field operations during setup and installation.

You will need strong communication skills, learn new products quickly, and be able to travel nationally to support customer needs. Office software proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.

Qualifications

High School diploma plus 2 years in a technical/engineering discipline.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in installation, repair, and/or maintenance for Burroughs supported products (Sorters, ATMs, Currency Recyclers, Smart Safes, PCs).
Experience in technical training is a plus.

Responsibilities

Evaluates and recommends field operations technical skills development solutions and training systems.
Delivers technical training to internal and external customers on Burroughs supported products.
Develops technical training materials to support internal and external customer needs.
Provide support to field operations for installation and setup of Burroughs supported products.
Maintain training records and communicate student progress to managers.
Maintain training equipment and test models used in classes.
Learn new products and develop training materials and classes to support changes in Burroughs products and business.
