Job summary

SMS group is seeking a Training Coordinator to support the planning and execution of comprehensive training initiatives across multiple sites. You will coordinate schedules, curricula, and materials while liaising with stakeholders and external providers to ensure high-quality programs.

The role requires at least 2 years in training coordination, strong MS Office and LMS skills, and the ability to leverage AI in communications. Candidates with manufacturing/engineering exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin, Education, or related field preferred; will consider relevant work experience.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in training coordination, administrative, or HR support.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and LMS experience.
• Ability to use AI in verbal and written communication.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with e-learning platforms and virtual training delivery tools.
• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or engineering environments.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, organization, and execution of training initiatives across SMS group.
• Serve as central contact for all training activities, coordinating stakeholders, trainers, and participants.
• Assist in developing and maintaining annual training plans and calendars.
• Facilitate collection of training needs from department heads and SMEs.
• Coordinate schedules, curricula, course materials, and related documentation.
• Schedule training sessions across multiple sites and time zones.
• Arrange facilities, equipment, catering, and tech for in-person and virtual events.
• Maintain training records and LMS data with accuracy.
• Liaise with external training providers, consultants, and certification bodies.
• Organize hands-on or simulation-based training as required by engineering teams.
