Job summary

Peraton in Hawaii seeks Technical Trainers to support the SITEC-3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance for USSOCOM. You will develop training, create course materials, and conduct classroom and online instruction for a global user base.

Applicants should have a BS with several years of experience or an appropriate equivalency, and must hold a DoD TS/SCI clearance. Strong written and verbal communication and a customer-service mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• BS plus 2 years of experience or HS with 6 years or AA with 4 years of experience
• DoD TS/SCI clearance required
• General experience includes background in information systems development, network operations, or related fields
• Minimum two years of experience in development and delivery of training and instruction
• Must have ability to communicate well both orally and in writing with a positive customer service attitude

Responsibilities

• Conduct research to develop and revise comprehensive training courses
• Determine training objectives and develop course curriculums
• Identify best approaches to training requirements
• Create course materials, handouts, instructional aids, and CBTs
• Perform classroom training and evaluate student performance
• Prepare training catalogs and assemble training materials
• Produce student materials such as manuals and handouts
• Execute training activities including trainer-led sessions and online facilitation
• Develop tests, surveys, and data collection measures to evaluate effectiveness
