Job summary

Peraton is seeking Technicial Trainers to support SITEC-3 at Camp H.M. Smith, HI. The role centers on designing and delivering comprehensive training programs for USSOCOM components, including end-user support, device management, and IMAC services.

You will develop curricula, materials, assessments, and training catalogs; deliver in classroom and online formats; evaluate learner performance; and ensure training remains current for 24x7 global operations.

Qualifications

• BS + 2 years of experience OR HS with 6 years of experience OR AA with 4 yrs of experience
• DoD TS/SCI clearance required
• General experience includes background in information systems development, network operations, application performance in a client/server environment, or related fields
• Minimum two years of experience in the development and delivery of training and instruction are required
• Must have a demonstrated ability to communicate well both orally and in writing and have a positive customer service attitude

Responsibilities

• Conduct research to develop and revise comprehensive training courses
• Determine training objectives and develop course curriculums
• Identify the best ways to approach training requirements
• Create course materials, handouts, instructional aids, audio/visual materials and similar teaching aids
• Perform classroom training
• Test and evaluate student performance
• Prepare appropriate training catalogs
• Assemble or create necessary training materials (e.g., course outlines, background material, and training aids)
• Produce student materials (e.g., course manuals, workbooks, handouts, exercises, completion certificates, and course critique forms)
• Execute training activities, such as training the trainer efforts, formal classroom training courses, course facilitation, online facilitation, workshops, exercises, and seminars
• Develop tests, surveys, and other data collection measures to evaluate students and the effectiveness of course materials
• Create computer-based training modules (CBTs) and web-based instruction
