Job summary

Axis Communications is seeking a dynamic Technical Trainer, West to join our training team. The ideal candidate will reside in the Irvine or San Jose area and enjoy delivering engaging courses, webinars, and podcasts about Axis IP Network Cameras.

You will travel nationally and internationally on short notice, update training materials, and develop needs analyses for new courses, while maintaining the training center and equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years in technical training or education.
• Public speaking and strong presentation skills; ability to adapt in classroom.
• IP networking background valued; CCTV knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Research industry needs for Axis products and technologies.
• Deliver in-person & remote courses, webinars, and trainings.
• Maintain training center and equipment.
• Update training materials regularly.
• Perform needs analysis for course development.
• Conduct customer evaluations.
• Represent Axis in training and new product initiatives.
• Travel nationally and internationally on short notice.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Job Description

Axis is looking for a dynamic and energetic person to join our team technical training team in the West. The ideal candidate will reside in the Irvine or San Jose Area. You'll love this position if you like generating excitement about Axis products and IP Network Cameras by delivering educational courses, webinars, and Podcasts. Come into our tight-knit group and help with your specific knowledge!

What You'll Do

• Consistently research and build awareness of specific industries need for Axis products and associated technologies
• Deliver In-person & Remote, courses, webinars, and trainings
• Maintain training center and equipment
• Update training materials constantly
• Perform needs analysis for course development
• Conduct customer evaluations
• Serve as Axis diplomat on training and new product initiatives
• Perform other related duties when assigned
• Travel both nationally and internationally on short notice

What You'll Need

Skills and Experience

• Network Surveillance/CCTV experience
• Experience in technical support or technical sales
• Experience in vertical segments such as banking, retail or government
• Industry certifications such as PSP, A+ or CISCO certifications
• Masters degree in related field

Target Salary

The approximate pay range is $95,000 - $110,000 OTE. (On Target Earnings) Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
