Job summary

Ohio CAT is seeking an instructor to provide hands-on technical training for Caterpillar machines and systems to students in classroom and shop environments.

The role includes developing presentations and laboratory exercises, plus occasional technical support for product teams. Some overnight travel to Ohio CAT locations or training centers may be required, and a willingness to learn new skills is essential.

Qualifications

• High school graduate minimum. College/continued education in a technical field is a plus.
• Minimum of three years experience related to construction or power equipment service/repair.
• Training or teaching experience in the industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach technical material effectively in classroom and shop environments.
• Develop presentations and laboratory exercises for training sessions.
• Provide occasional technical support to product support departments and travel as needed.
