Job summary

APM Terminals is seeking a Training Supervisor for Shift A to deliver and reinforce frontline training across warehouse operations. You will help develop routines, coach teams, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Ideal candidates bring warehouse/contract logistics experience and a proven ability to train and develop frontline staff, with strong English and Spanish communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Experience in warehouse operations or contract logistics with a supervisory role.
  • Proven ability to train, coach, and develop frontline employees.
  • Strong skills in communication, facilitation and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple training priorities.
  • Knowledge of inbound, outbound, inventory, safety and quality processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver training sessions for Frontline Managers and Associates, ensuring practical application.
  • Ensure strong communication, teamwork, and alignment with stakeholders as a training partner.
  • Coordinate and deliver structured training routines supporting different department teams.
  • Develop training routines enabling employees to learn operations and standard processes.
  • Stay current with onsite procedures to reflect established best practices.
  • Apply operational expertise to ensure training reflects real workflows and performance expectations.
  • Reinforce safety, quality, and performance through training and coaching.

Shift A: 1st Shift Sun-Wed 5am-3:30pm

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver training sessions for Frontline Managers and Associates, leveraging operations supervisor experience to ensure practical application.
  • Ensure strong communication, teamwork, and alignment with stakeholders, acting as a trusted operational and training partner.
  • Coordinate and deliver structured training routines supporting different department teams, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Develop training routines that enable employees to learn technical and functional aspects of the operations aligned to standard processes.
  • Stay current with onsite procedures to ensure training reflects established best practices.
  • Apply operational expertise (inbound, outbound, inventory, safety, quality) to ensure training reflects real workflows and performance expectations.
  • Reinforce safety, quality, and performance behaviors through training and coaching.
Qualifications
  • Experience in warehouse operations or contract logistics, including a supervisory or team leadership role.
  • Proven ability to train, coach, and develop frontline employees.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse processes (inbound, outbound, inventory control, safety, quality).
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple training priorities.
Language Requirements
  • Proficient in English and Spanish: Able to deliver training sessions for English and Spanish speakers.

Pay Range: $65,000 - $70,304. *The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
