Job summary

Kokusai Semiconductor Equipment Corporation in Glendale, AZ is seeking a highly motivated Technical Trainer to educate customers and internal teams on Kokusai vertical diffusion furnaces, Tanduo, Tsurugi and single wafer tool types. Qualifications

• A.S. or B.S in related Electro/Mechanical or Electronic field or equivalent training.
• Minimum 3 years' tool installation and/or maintenance experience at a customer site and/or direct Technical Training experience.
• Experience on Kokusai equipment preferred; classroom training and/or hands-on OJT instruction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach customer and internal courses for Kokusai vertical diffusion furnaces, Tanduo, Tsurugi and single wafer tool types.
• Develop training curriculum for new courses.
• Provide hands-on technical support and participate in OJT activities at customer locations when not performing training functions.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to fill a Technical Trainer role in Glendale, Arizona.

Technical Trainers are responsible for teaching customer and internal courses for Kokusai vertical diffusion furnaces, Tanduo, Tsurugi and single wafer tool types. Technical Trainers must also develop training curriculum for new courses and possess the ability to interface with students with patience and professionalism. Technical trainers will be expected to provide hands-on technical support and participate in OJT activities at customer locations when not performing training specific functions at a Kokusai training facility.

Trainers are required to achieve Instructor certifications as well as the specific Skill Sheet Rank for tool installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance as defined for each Technical Trainer Skill level.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: A.S. or B.S in related Electro/Mechanical or Electronic field or equivalent training.

EXPERIENCE:

• Can demonstrate knowledge and/or technical training experience on Kokusai (or competitor) product lines.
• Minimum 3 years' tool installation and/or maintenance experience at a customer site and/or direct Technical Training experience. Experience on Kokusai equipment preferred
• Demonstrated classroom training and/or hands on OJT instruction experience preferred.

The salary offered to the selected candidate will be based on several factors including location and level and will vary depending on confirmed job-related knowledge, skills, and experience (range $74.8K - $120.6K) In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation.
