Job summary

Rockwood R-6 School District Community Ed in Ellisville, Missouri is seeking a Theater Manager to oversee the setup and operation of technical theater equipment for district events. You will coordinate with schools, districts, and community organizations to ensure smooth productions and effective space usage.

The role requires hands-on experience with lighting, sound, and rigging, strong teamwork and communication, and the ability to work nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age; high school diploma or GED/HSE preferred.
• Basic knowledge of use and operation of theatrical lighting, sound, and rigging systems preferred.
• Technical theater management experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation to and from various events.

Responsibilities

• Supervise group using Rockwood facilities as needed.
• Set up and operate theatrical lighting, sound, and rigging equipment.
• Clean and return Rockwood spaces to original condition when event is finished.
• Work with custodial department at designated location to ensure space is locked up and secure.
• Supervise group using Rockwood facilities when a Rockwood staff member is not present.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
