Job Summary

Responsible for set‑up and operation of technical theater equipment for various events throughout the district put on by various schools, departments, and community organizations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Set up and operate theatrical lighting, sound, and rigging equipment.
• Clean and return Rockwood spaces to original condition when event is finished.
• Work with custodial department at designated location to ensure space is locked up and secure.
• Supervise group using Rockwood facilities when a Rockwood staff member or Theater Manager is not present.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Theater Manager.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with Rockwood staff members, community groups, and students of all ages.
• Ability to work flexibly.
• Basic knowledge of use and operation of theatrical lighting, sound, and rigging systems.
• Ability to lift 20 pounds.
