About the Role

The Team Lead for Citavi is a pivotal role that will help drive our team to fulfil our engineering initiatives. You will be instrumental in empowering our engineering team to excel. This role is crucial for harmonizing product innovation, and operational effectiveness, ensuring that we not only meet but exceed our objectives in product development. As a Team Lead, you will drive our commitment to excellence by coordinating, guiding and inspiring your team.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technical professionals.
  • Foster a collaborative, innovative, and high-performing team culture.
  • Professional development and performance management.
  • Provide technical leadership within the team’s area of responsibility.
  • Develop and maintain critical system components.
  • Own architecture and solution design decisions.
  • Set standards for troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Oversee significant problem-solving initiatives.
  • Ensure the highest standards in documentation and coding practices.
  • Act as a key contact for the team.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in software development
  • Mastery in problem-solving.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Experience with Agile development principles and practices, especially the Scrum method.
  • Proficiency in relevant technologies and programming languages: .NET Framework, .NET Core, SQL Server, Javascript.
Preferred Requirements
  • Outstanding communication and leadership.
  • Strategic project management.
  • Mastery of Jira and advanced Scrum methodologies.
