Job summary

Semper Valens Solutions is seeking a Technical Task Lead for our San Antonio, TX location, requiring Top Secret/SCI eligibility. The role leads DevSecOps programs and provides technical planning, leadership, and guidance across complex projects.

The candidate will oversee technical vision, ensure quality, and coordinate with the PMO on system architecture and delivery, with a focus on cloud-based platforms and distributed systems. A competitive referral bonus applies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; master's may substitute for 2 years.
• 10+ years in the functional area with leadership experience.
• 5 years leading complex DevSecOps programs focusing on cloud, cyber, and platforms.
• 3 years managing subcontractors and projects using agile or spiral development.
• SAFe Agilist Certification required; PMP or SAFe desirable.
• CISSP Certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical leadership and guidance.
• Drive the system's technical vision per PMO.
• Review contractor documentation and track project progress.
• Serve as primary PMO touchpoint for the technical vision of JCC2-R system.
• Ensure adherence to technical quality standards.
• Offer technical and analytical guidance to the team.
• Recommend actions to address technical problems.

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for the development and implementation of assigned projects. Responsible for the technical planning, establishment, execution, and evaluation of a multifaceted program/project

Job Description:

• Provides day-to-day technical/professional guidance and leadership as appropriate to the area of expertise.
• Drives technical vision of systems as provided by the PMO and has oversight into and understanding of technical system capabilities and specifications.
• Reviews technical documentation produced by contractor team, provides this documentation to the PMO, and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.
• Serves as primary touchpoint to the PMO in regard to overarching technical vision for JCC2-R system.
• Ensures adherence to technical quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
• Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team.
• Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and technical solutions of problems.

Required Qualifications:

• At least 10 years of overall experience in the functional area. A bachelor's degree in related field required. Master's degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.
• 5 years of relevant experience, experience leading complex DevSecOps programs with an emphasis on cloud, cyber and platform technologies.
• 3 years' experience managing subcontractors and projects using agile, and/or spiral development models.
• Software Engineering experience or equivalent field
• Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Agilist Certification
• Broad understanding of theoretical concept on cloud computing solutions
• Broad knowledge on distributed systems architecture and microservices
• Broad Understanding of data analytics development
• Practical experience using JIRA and Confluence for project management
• PMP (PMI-AC is desirable) or SaFe Agilist certification is required.
