Job summary

Semper Valens Solutions in San Antonio, TX seeks a Technical Task Lead to drive complex DevSecOps programs, lead technical planning and execution, and act as the primary PMO technical liaison for the JCC2-R system.

You will guide and review contractor work, ensure quality, and mentor the project team while coordinating with stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable cloud-based solutions.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of overall experience in the functional area; a related bachelor's degree required.
• 5 years of relevant experience leading complex DevSecOps programs with cloud, cyber and platform tech.
• 3 years managing subcontractors and projects using agile or spiral development models.
• Software engineering experience or equivalent field.
• SAFe Agilist certification is required; PMI-AC is desirable.
• Broad understanding of cloud computing, distributed systems, and data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Provides day-to-day technical guidance and leadership in area of expertise.
• Drives technical vision of systems as per PMO oversight; understands capabilities and specs.
• Reviews contractor documentation; supports project tracking and analysis.
• Serves as primary PMO touchpoint for overarching technical vision of JCC2-R system.

• Provides technical and analytical guidance to the project team.
• Directs analysis and solutions of technical problems.

Job Description

• Provides day-to-day technical/professional guidance and leadership as appropriate to the area of expertise.


• Drives technical vision of systems as provided by the PMO and has oversight into and understanding of technical system capabilities and specifications.


• Reviews technical documentation produced by contractor team, provides this documentation to the PMO, and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.


• Serves as primary touchpoint to the PMO in regard to overarching technical vision for JCC2-R system.


• Ensures adherence to technical quality standards and reviews project deliverables.


• Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team.


• Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and technical solutions of problems.

Required Qualifications

• At least 10 years of overall experience in the functional area. A bachelor's degree in related field required. Master's degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.


• 5 years of relevant experience, experience leading complex DevSecOps programs with an emphasis on cloud, cyber and platform technologies.


• 3 years' experience managing subcontractors and projects using agile, and/or spiral development models.


• Software Engineering experience or equivalent field


• Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Agilist Certification


• Broad understanding of theoretical concept on cloud computing solutions


• Broad knowledge on distributed systems architecture and microservices


• Broad Understanding of data analytics development


• Practical experience using JIRA and Confluence for project management


• PMP (PMI-AC is desirable) or SaFe Agilist certification is required.
