Job summary

Magna International is seeking a skilled recruiter to own the full-cycle recruitment process—from requisition approval to onboarding. You will collaborate with hiring managers to define staffing needs, build candidate pipelines, and drive strategies to attract top technical talent.

The role requires 2–5 years of recruiting experience in technical or industrial settings, proficiency in ATS and LinkedIn Recruiter, and strong communication and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Communications, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 2–5 years of recruiting experience, preferably in technical, engineering, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
• Experience using ATS and recruiting databases.
• Strong interviewing, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle recruitment process from requisition approval through offer acceptance and onboarding.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements, job specifications, and hiring priorities.
• Develop and implement recruiting strategies to attract qualified technical candidates.
• Source candidates through job boards, social media platforms, networking events, employee referrals, and professional organizations.
• Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate interviews to assess qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams.
• Maintain communication with candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure a positive experience.
• Negotiate employment offers and facilitate the pre-employment process.
• Track recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness, and candidate pipeline activity.
• Maintain accurate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
• Participate in job fairs, campus recruiting events, and industry networking activities.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Support employer branding initiatives to enhance the organization's reputation as an employer of choice.
