Job summary

ImagineX Digital in Columbus, OH is seeking a Technical Systems Engineer / Manager to lead administration, integration, and optimization of our enterprise systems and SaaS applications. This role requires onsite client visits five days a week and leadership across HR, Finance, and Operations teams.

You will oversee tools like Workday, PeopleSoft, SAP Fieldglass and related software, drive automation, ensure security controls, and maintain system documentation while coordinating with vendor

Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise IT, internal systems administration, or IT operations.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise SaaS/vendor solutions (Workday/PeopleSoft/SAP Fieldglass).
• Experience integrating HRIS/ERP/VMS platforms and managing vendor SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee administration, configuration, and daily operations of core internal SaaS and vendor apps.
• Design, build, and maintain secure integrations and APIs between third-party platforms and internal data stores.
• Automate business workflows to reduce manual data entry and streamline onboarding, billing, and resource management.
• Partner with HR, Finance, Legal, and Operations to translate business needs into scalable system solutions.
• Evaluate vendor software, conduct capability gap analyses, and manage third-party relationships and SLAs.
• Provide onsite support, SOPs, and end-user training to drive tool adoption.

ImagineX is seeking a Technical Systems Engineer / Manager to lead the administration, integration, and optimization of our enterprise corporate systems and SaaS applications. In this role, you will oversee the core third-party tools that power our business operations—including Workday, PeopleSoft, SAP Fieldglass, and related enterprise software. The ideal candidate combines hands‑on technical configuration experience with strong vendor management, process automation, and cross‑functional leadership across HR, Finance, and Operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Enterprise Application Management & Administration
• Own the administration, configuration, and day‑to‑day operations of key internal SaaS and vendor applications (Workday, PeopleSoft, SAP Fieldglass, etc.)
• Monitor platform health, manage release updates, and ensure business continuity across core operational systems
• Manage user access, security roles, and compliance frameworks across all internal platforms
• Vendor Systems Integration & Workflow Automation
• Design, build, and maintain secure integrations and APIs connecting third‑party platforms with internal databases and reporting tools
• Streamline business processes through automated workflows, reducing manual effort in data entry, onboarding, billing, and resource management
• Business Analysis & Stakeholder Alignment
• Partner with cross‑functional leaders (HR, Finance, Legal, Operations) to gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable system solutions
• Evaluate external vendor software, conduct capability gap analyses, and manage third‑party vendor relationships and service‑level agreements (SLAs)
• Continuous Improvement & Onsite Support
• Serve as the senior escalation point for tier‑3 platform issues, working directly with vendor support teams and onsite stakeholders to ensure rapid resolution
• Provide daily, direct engagement and operational alignment with client teams onsite
• Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), system documentation, and end‑user training to drive tool adoption across the organization

Required Experience

• 10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise application management, internal systems administration, or IT operations
• Core Platform Experience: Deep hands‑on experience administering and integrating enterprise SaaS/vendor solutions such as Workday, PeopleSoft, SAP Fieldglass, or similar HRIS/ERP/VMS platforms
• Integration & Automation: Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, iPaaS frameworks, data mapping, and workflow automation
• Vendor & SLA Management: Proven track record working with third‑party software vendors, managing license usage, and tracking SLA performance
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Strong business analysis skills with the ability to bridge technical requirements with business unit leaders (HR, Finance, Procurement)
• Security & Governance: Understanding of role‑based access control (RBAC), data privacy standards, and regulatory compliance within corporate software ecosystems
