Who we need

We are hiring a Technical Support Specialist with a strong background in cloud technologies, specifically Azure, and experience in Azure Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), MSIX App Streaming, and SQL management. The ideal candidate will also have familiarity with CI/CD tools, with a particular emphasis on Octopus Deploy, to provide technical assistance and ensure the seamless operation of our hosted environments. As a part of our support team, you will play a critical role in troubleshooting, resolving, and optimizing client and internal systems to ensure the highest level of performance and security.

This is a remote role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for Cloud-hosted environments, focusing on Azure VDI, SQL, and related technologies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and MSIX App Packaging/Streaming.
  • Provide troubleshooting and support for SQL databases in Azure environments, focusing on resolving issues and ensuring smooth performance.
  • Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to support and manage CI/CD pipelines using Octopus Deploy or similar tools.
  • Assist in deployment and automation of software applications using CI/CD processes to streamline operations.
  • Provide support in various Microsoft Server technologies to include IIS, File Servers, Active Directory, Domain Controllers and API Servers
  • Document and track all incidents, resolutions, and customer interactions in our internal ticketing system.
  • Assist in Azure cloud migrations and environment upgrades as part of the company’s ongoing IT initiatives.
  • Interact and utilize Azure/AVD environments to provide tiers 1 & 2 support, SQL support including backups, restores, & disaster recovery, and support for Elite software & add-on products

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in a technical support role or similar position.
  • Proficient in cloud technologies, with hands-on experience in Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and MSIX App Streaming preferred.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, especially Octopus Deploy or similar platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical users.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
