Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical support strategy and activities in the SEA Sales Area.
- Respond to technical support queries between Territory organisations / Customers and the backline factory channels for the active units within the Sales Area.
- Ensure Territory organisations are working towards technical self-sufficiency.
- Coordinate new equipment introductions, factory support and ad-hoc gap training.
- Coordinate operational readiness deliverables.
- Ensuring safety and service bulletins are being managed and implemented.
- Monitor and report on trends for changes to current specifications across the products.
Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in a technical support, service engineering, or product advisory role within the heavy machinery, mining, or manufacturing industry.
- Underground mining and/or tunnelling experience preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing cross-functional and regional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer-facing skills.
- Ability to travel within the region as required.
