Job summary
Ocean Optics, a Halma plc subsidiary in Orlando, is seeking a Technical Support Supervisor to lead the technical support team, deliver world-class assistance, and drive continuous improvements in service. Reporting to the Director of Applications Engineering, you will mentor staff, coordinate with Engineering, Product Management, Sales and Operations, and own SLAs to ensure exceptional customer outcomes.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in technical support, field applications, or related roles.
- Experience mentoring technical teams.
- Experience with spectroscopy, photonics, or instrumentation is a plus.
- Experience in regulated environments (ISO, FDA, etc.) desirable.
Responsibilities
- Deliver world-class technical support enabling customers to maximize product value.
- Own inquiries from initial contact to resolution with timely communication.
- Research, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve advanced technical issues with practical solutions.
- Support customers via phone, email, live chat, and remote sessions.
- Mentor and coach Technical Support Team and onboard new staff.
