Job summary

Mattson Technology is looking for a Technical Support Engineer based in Fremont, California. In this role, you will interface with the engineering department, participate in product review meetings, and work on warranty control and improvement.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in systems engineering and a Bachelor's degree in an engineering field. Knowledge of semiconductor plasma chambers and hands-on engineering skills are vital for this position.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of experience in Systems Engineering.
• Experience optimizing a product from prototype to a reliable, manufacturable product.
• Experience in the design or final test of semiconductor plasma chambers.

Responsibilities

• Interface with engineering department.
• Participate in product review meetings.
• Conduct regular warranty meetings and provide meeting minutes.
• Collaborate with relevant product changes including ECR and CIP.

Skills

Systems Engineering experience

Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or physical science knowledge

Hands-on engineering skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or physical science

Advanced degree in relevant fields preferred
