Vishay Precision Group, Inc. (VPG) seeks a motivated Technical Support Engineer to deliver front-line technical support for DTS hardware and software systems.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, customer interaction, and cross-functional collaboration to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues and to support installations. You will contribute to product improvements, maintain technical documentation, support remote and on-site activities, and participate in training and mentoring.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in electronics or engineering required.
• Approximately 2 years in a technical role with data acquisition or embedded systems.
• Experience with automotive crash, flight test, or aerospace & Defense sectors preferred.
• Ability to learn DTS software products and demonstrate skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line technical support for DTS hardware and software systems.
• Respond to support tickets independently or with senior staff.
• Test and verify software, system, and product performance.
• Assist with sensor installation, wiring, and system setup.
• Maintain and update technical documentation and knowledge base.
• Collaborate with engineering to relay customer feedback.
• Provide web-based, remote, and on-site technical support and training.
• Participate in customer meetings and site visits as needed.
• Contribute to pre-sales and post-sales technical activities.
• Design and develop custom support solutions as needed.
• Participate in training and mentoring programs.
• Perform other duties as requested.
