Job summary

Field Fastener is seeking an experienced, independent-thinking teammate for our Technical Team in Tyler, TX. You will collaborate with quality, sourcing, account management, operations, and engineering to troubleshoot, test, and provide technical support on fasteners and fastening applications.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical engineering background, hands-on aptitude, and at least 3 years in a technical role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical role.
• Understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
• Mechanical hands-on aptitude and willingness to work hands-on.
• Customer interaction including presentations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze problems and present solutions to internal customers.
• Provide technical guidance to internal production operations.
• Lead internal technical training and share engineering knowledge.
• Travel up to 25% to support business activities.
• Communicate effectively with customers and suppliers.
