Responsibilities include providing technical support to field technicians, developing and delivering training, creating materials, and upholding consistent standards for repairs, maintenance, and installations across departments.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, service, maintenance, repair, and installation.
• Demonstrated field experience troubleshooting and resolving technical problems.
• Ability to read, understand, and apply manufacturer documentation and technical specifications.
• Experience developing or delivering technical training, instruction, or hands-on coaching.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical topics clearly.
• Ability to influence technical performance, promote accountability, and work collaboratively across departments.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, initiative, and independent follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting guidance to field technicians and applicable departments.
• Serve as an escalation point for difficult service, maintenance, repair, and installation issues.
• Develop and deliver classroom, hands-on, and field-based technical training.
• Create and maintain training materials, competency checklists, technical standards, and troubleshooting resources.
• Establish consistent expectations for repairs, maintenance, installations, diagnostics, and workmanship.
• Partner with department leaders to define technician skill requirements and development paths.
• Research new equipment, products, systems, and technologies before they are widely implemented in the field.
• Identify recurring technical issues, determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Communicate technical findings, standards, and recommendations to technicians, managers, and leadership.
