Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience as an IT Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Programmer, or in a related occupation
• Experience supporting various IT systems, with knowledge of issue resolution and 3rd party tools such as Unisys
• Experience in full life-cycle application implementations from requirements to production support
• Customer service attitude and ability to communicate with non-technical personnel
• Excellent business engagement, organization, and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix team structure
• Experience with budgeting, expense tracking, forecasting, and vendor cost management

Responsibilities

• Manage, deliver, and support IT initiatives that identify, design, implement creative business and technology solutions for business operations
• Establish relationships with business users and engage in day-to-day interactions with business management, sponsorship, key business application owners and act as their trusted IT adviser
• Support key business applications from conception to production, including training, ongoing health & support and transitioning to newer technologies
• Make efforts to understand and learn business, technical and functional skills needed to do the job
• Adherence to Flowserve policies and procedures
• Support IT budget planning and regular reviews of actual spending against budget, identifying variances and providing input on forecasts
• Review software licensing, maintenance, and vendor costs to identify opportunities for savings and improved resource utilization
• Assist with reviewing vendor proposals, statements of work, purchase orders, and invoices to confirm alignment with approved budgets and agreed deliverables
• Partner with Finance and IT leadership to track project and operational expenses and support cost-benefit evaluations for IT investments
• Other duties as assigned

Role Summary

The Technician is accountable for technical review, execution, maintenance, and customer support. Adherence to standard procedures and timely completion of contract deliverables.

Responsibilities & Requirements

• Participated in a full life-cycle application implementation experiences from requirements to production support




• Customer service attitude and must be adept at communicating with non-technical business personnel




• Excellent business engagement, organization, and communication skills




• Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix team structure

- Experience with budgeting, expense tracking, forecasting, and vendor cost management.

-Understanding of financial processes, including purchasing, invoice review, and capital versus operating expenses.
