Position Summary

We're seeking a Technical Systems Engineer to configure, deploy, troubleshoot, and support Enterprise to Field Systems (EFS) and connected field devices. This role combines technical problem-solving, project management, and customer support to ensure customers receive reliable, high-performing monitoring solutions.

What You'll Do

• Lead technical projects and serve as the primary technical contact for assigned customers.
• Configure, integrate, deploy, and support Enterprise to Field Systems (EFS) and field devices.
• Troubleshoot issues involving software, Windows servers, networking, communications, field devices, and electrical equipment.
• Diagnose problems from the application layer through the network and into field hardware.
• Collaborate with customers, electricians, contractors, and internal engineering teams to identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Manage customer issues from initial report through final resolution while providing consistent communication.
• Monitor customer systems and recommend improvements that increase performance and reliability.
• Document technical issues, resolutions, and customer interactions.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while building long-term client relationships.
  
  

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree, technical certification, or equivalent hands-on experience in Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, Telecommunications, Industrial Automation, Controls, or a related technical field.
• Experience working with Windows servers, networking, telecommunications, PLCs, operational technology (OT), or other industrial field equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across software, networking, servers, communications, and field devices.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, engineering, wiring, or technical diagrams.
• Strong organization, documentation, and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with excellent ownership and accountability.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SCADA, HMI, PLCs, industrial automation, or operational technology (OT).
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols and integrating meters, relays, RTUs, controllers, sensors, or similar field devices.
• Experience with electrical, network, or system architecture drawings.
• Working knowledge of Python, Linux, embedded systems, or related technologies.
• Experience supporting utility, manufacturing, energy, infrastructure, or other industrial environments.
• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices for industrial control systems.
