Job summary

Powersource Automation and Controls is seeking a Senior Electrical & Systems Integration Engineer to lead the design, integration, and commissioning of complex control and electrical systems for data centers and industrial facilities.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on field experience, strong technical expertise, and the ability to lead projects from concept through execution, delivering reliable, secure, and high-performance solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
7+ years in electrical systems, controls, or systems integration.
Hands-on experience with PLCs, SCADA, BMS, and HMI platforms.
Experience in data centers, critical infrastructure, or industrial environments.
Solid networking fundamentals: IP, VLANs, routing, firewalls.
Proven ability to lead projects and work cross-functionally.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Design, install, and commission low-voltage control systems.
Integrate multi-vendor hardware and software platforms.
Develop control logic, automation sequences, and system workflows.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical and control system issues.
Configure and program PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and BMS platforms.
Design networked control systems including IP addressing, VLANs, routing, and segmentation.
Implement communication protocols such as Modbus and BACnet.
Integrate HVAC, UPS, generators, switchgear, and PDUs.
