Job summary

2K Mocap is seeking a Technical Stage Manager to lead a hands-on mocap team in our Petaluma studio. You will drive development of cutting-edge motion capture tech, oversee a small, agile group, and coordinate with production, shop, and stage teams to keep pipelines running smoothly.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on experience with mocap systems, and proficiency with tools like Motionbuilder, Maya, and Unreal. A passion for automation, Python, and C++ QT applications is a plus.

Qualifications

Experience leading and organizing a technical team of 5 or more people.
Experience solving complex technical problems under pressure.
Experience designing large mocap camera layouts, focusing and aiming cameras, and troubleshooting mocap systems.
Experience using Motionbuilder, Maya, Shogun, Motive, and Unreal Engine, as well as their APIs.
Basic understanding of Python application development.
Knowledge of Python and C++ based Qt applications.

Responsibilities

Lead in development of the latest motion capture technology and guide the mocap team.
Collaborate with production, shop, stage, and operations to keep hardware/software functional.
