BHE GT&S is seeking a Technical Specialist I/II or Sr. Technical Specialist for the Groveport, OH location, with an option for Crayne Compressor Station in Waynesburg, PA.

Qualifications

• 0-2+ years of relevant experience and competencies in applicable discipline.
• Basic knowledge of engineering principles, theories, and practices.
• Ability to learn and apply basic knowledge and techniques to solve broadly-defined engineering problems.
• Effective oral, written, and graphical communication skills.
• Ability to conduct standard tests, measurements, and experiments.
• Ability to function as a member on a technical team.
• Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicable software programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Operations to promote quality and efficient compression operations.
• Interpret compressor performance curves and identify more efficient practices.
• Support technicians and contractors to ensure proper assembly and maintenance procedures.
• Support real-time horsepower, high pressure fuel, auto balance, and other control systems.
• Assist operations on reciprocating engines and compressors during maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Develop, standardize, and maintain technical documentation and training materials.
• Develop and conduct training classes as required.
• Lead capital projects from scope to in-service, including budgeting and scheduling.
