Job summary

BHE GT&S seeks a Technical Specialist for Compression at the Myersville Station in Middletown, MD, with support for Leesburg, VA, Catlett, VA and Chambersburg, PA. This role focuses on planning, design, and operation of Compression Services projects, including relay settings, SCADA, and preventive maintenance.

The position requires deep electrical power knowledge, proficiency with testing equipment, and strong problem‑solving skills.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of plant electrical power generation and distribution systems.
• Protective and network relaying, electrical and control systems.
• Familiarity with safety regulations (NFPA 70/70E) and industrial electrical hazards.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and technical support for Compression Services projects and fleet reliability.
• Perform calculations, sizing, design reviews, RCA, and regulatory compliance activities.
• Install, test, and troubleshoot relays, metering, and SCADA systems; maintain equipment.
