Job summary

BHE GT&S is seeking an Engine Mechanic for the Chambersburg Station in Chambersburg, PA. You will perform advanced tasks related to installation, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of compressor station engines and related systems.

The role requires use of machine tools, hand tools, and precision instruments to ensure safe and efficient operation. Experience with gas engines and a valid drive r's license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of natural gas, utilities, or related industry experience.
• Applicants with natural gas engine repair/maintenance are highly preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair compressor station units and related equipment.
• Use machine tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to ensure safe operation.
• Assist in erecting and testing internal combustion engines and auxiliary equipment.
• Repair engines and keep equipment and tools in safe working condition.
• Prepare records and reports as required.
